Christine has been leading the partnership with the association “Vivre comme avant” for three years. Her colleagues at KIABI Besançon have once again responded to the invitation launched as part of Pink October.
“With about twenty fashion consultants, we took over the shop’s alteration workshop during our break time to make mask bags for cancer patients”, comments Elisabeth, one of Christine’s friendly recruits.
The collection of donations organised at the checkout raised almost 2,700 euros for the Ligue contre le cancer, two of whose representatives came to run a prevention workshop in the shop. “We have already made an appointment with the association with a view to producing other kits containing hygiene products for homeless women,” says Elisabeth, who intends to take part in the adventure before enjoying a well-deserved retirement.
